Reapplied thermal paste. Gpu running super hot.

Okay so, I'm not super experienced with this, but I recently applied new thermal paste to my cpu and gpu due to overheating. My cpu is running much cooler but my gpu seems to be running uncomfortably high, idle between 90-100 degrees Celsius. Any advice? What should I be checking or looking for?

Hey, be careful not to let it run too long that way! It sounds like you have an air gap somewhere and the heat is just staying inside the GPU. I'd try double-checking that the heat sink was reapplied evenly and with enough torque on the screws (but not too much that strips them/cracks the chip die/s!).
