I have a AM3910-E3512 acer aspire with:
Windows 7 Home Premieum 64-bit
Intel Core i3 processor 550
6 GB DDR3 memory
1TB Hard Drive
DVD-Super Multi drive
NVIDIA Geforce 315, 512 MB
Multi-in-One Media Card Reader
HDMI

Should i upgrade anything specific? or change the mother board, or just upgrade the graphics card? I want to be able to play newer high intensity games. Any ideas or help would be great

i don't know what type of motherboard you have. You can just only upgrade the graphics card if the motherboard can provide enough voltage which a better graphics card needs.

Max I can recommend is a 7750 or 7770 or 7790. Nvidia best bang 4 buck would be a 650ti or a better option 750/ 750ti

GFX card is your weakest component

Min starting point would be 640GT or 650GT/TI/OC
Depending on size in case and PSU you could push for a much better card

Is this your system ? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
This system only come with a 300W psu

See http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt...

Mine is similar in specs but my model is the aspire AM3910-E3512 with a nvidia Geforce 315 512mb pre instaled

I was thinking of the 750ti, do you think this would be my best option given the current specs? or should i opt for a new computer? dont have too much cash to spend though. is the i3 any good for gaming?
