New System Wont Boot Up

So I just built a new PC and it wont seem to power on, am I missing something to connect the PSU to? The MOBO itself through the 24 pin and to the 8 pin, the HDDs and the Optical Drive, I dont have a GPU. Am I missing something? Thanks

What happens when you press the power button? Does it briefly turn on then off?

no signs of life at all, it isnt the outlet im connected to and the PSU switch is on...Im sure im missing something obvious

Well when I built my pc my power button wasn't connected to the mobo, and I'm pretty sure your missing a cable somewhere.
