Need help choosing a CPU

So I'm planning on making a cheap gaming computer ($400-700) and I'm looking at getting either the Intel i5-4670K Quad-core and the AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core. From what I've read about there is that each core runs at about the same speed (3.4-3.5 MGz), the AMD Eight-Core is cheaper and runs faster (by a little). So my questions are; are these good or ok?, which one is better and which one is more cost efficient. Thanks.

The 8320 is definitely more cost efficient and as long as you get a good GPU, either will be a good choice.
