Solution
my suggestion :
do not get VS/VX series from Corsair
you should get 80+ bronze psu

or this one, my favorite

ram, go for 2x 4Gb in one kit

GPU, why dont you pick Radeon 270 / 270X? much better than gtx 660 and will make a complete AMD build

This should be perfect

CPU AMD 3.5 AM3+ FX 6-Core Edition FX-6300 7791/-
Mobo MSI 970A-G46 Motherboard 6334/-
Ram G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 7100/-
HDD WD Caviar Blue 1TB Desktop Internal Hard Drive 4099/-
GPU ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 2GB 2 GB DDR5 14400/-
PSU Seasonic ECO 600 600 Watts PSU 5000/-
Case Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet 3400/-

Total 48000/- a little over budget but its an awesome build OS you can get from torrent if its hard for you to go over your budget get 4 gigs of ram but i don't suggest that at least get 8 gigs if you can i am also from india and all these prices are from flipkart. :D

Was thinking of going for the asus m5a97

48000 is a bit over board bro... but still.. any other reduction in cost possible to bring it to 45 k ??

if i go for the radeon 270X.. is it possible to make a gaming pc within 45k ?? If so can you kindly tell me the parts and their possible sources ??

what's the advantage of a radeon 270x over a gtx660 ??

And how they are an improvement over the parts which I had written ?

Ariadon1992, where do you stay? If possible visit a computer shop and tell them your budget, they'll let you know the components within that budget that you can get. Its the best strategy when tying to build a new PC. Just post the specs here and we can help you find better alternatives in that price range online or cheaper prices for those parts online.

Hmm.. I stay in Bangalore. And I'd prefer not to ask computer shops, cuz well they have already fooled me twice.

I trust you guys and this forum more...

I have a budget of around 45000... and I am not sure what to go about ??

Motherboard (preferably ASUS), PSU (preferably 500 or better watt), Graphic card (one which can run the latest games in high quality and in the future i can think abt adding another graphic card), ram (preferably 4 or more gb), HDD (preferably 1 tb), optical disk drive, cabinet (preferable if i can attach another fan in the cabinet and if it has space for liquid cooling later on)

ohh and finally a monitor... if all this can be procured in 45000 rupees... what are those parts ?? :) thanks again
