Problem with my PC's connection

Hello, I've had a problem with my personal computer for a long time.
The problem is that my internet connection starts to drop off every few months for atleast 5 minutes in 10 minutes, in other words, I can't connect to internet with my computer since the connection drops off randomly, but then reconnects for a while and does it all over again. I play MMO-games and especially in those the random disconnecting is unbearable.
I have tried different modems/ cables between my pc and modem. Also tried different adapters that connect my pc to for example my phones internet. And since I've tried many different internet providers, the problem can't be with them. Just recently I discovered the following: my computer was connected to my wireless phone internet with Asus USB-N123 adapter(which is only 3 months old and has worked like a charm) and at one point my pc couldn't access any website (or game). However, at the same time I could connect to net by using my phone (the exact same connection). It even seemed that I couldn't connect to net with my ethernet cable (uses different connection, through adsl modem). This all has been happening for few years now and I'm starting to lose my mind with this.
For info, I use:
Windows 7(32bit),network adapters Atheros AR8121 ethernet controller and Asus USB-N13(updated both drivers). Both of my connections speed's are around 1 mbps. No one else uses either of these connections, just me. I have contacted my internet providers and they say there is nothing wrong with the connections. Also, yes I've tried atleast the WLAN connection with other computers and that works, but don't know about the adsl modem.
Thanks for help in advance, I hope someone knows what this could be.

Poor lines can cause ADSL connections to drop out. Can you post the specs from the modem, most importantly the attenuation, upstream+downstream rates, and errors?

Interesting that it happens on your phone, though.

Has you tried reinstalling windows? It's a good thing to do every few years, and it might clear whatever clutter is causing this.

Yeah the lines are poor, but since it's the same problem with my phone's different internet, I thought it's in my PC.
The transmission speed is 512 Kbps
Input speed 1024 kbps
SNR (transmit rate) 6.0 db
SNR (Input speed) 23.5 db
Attenuation :
(transmission) 30.5 db
(input) 63db
Yep I should try reinstalling, but this problem has been atleast from the start of this computer usage (3years) I didn't use internet much before this PC so I don't really know how it worked before.

I don't know if the facts that adsl and wlan have the same problem with losing connection are related, but I'd like to find out a way to make the wlan work atleast. It worked so well for that 3 months that I already miss it.

Ok so now I have reinstalled whole windows on my desktop and believe me I was so sad when I found out after 5 minutes of downloading updates/programs that the internet connection once again disconnected for a while. Any ideas what I should do next to solve this problem?
