Is this enough to save up for? Maybe more?

I don't have the money yet but I want to save up 2000$ to make a gaming computer. I want it for the ability to play all games out and some upcoming games on max settings no problem. Can I get something like that for that much money? Would I need to save up more? I will come here when I save up and if I ever need upgrade help. Thanks

I'd build the PC first and see where it puts you at. Then buy accessories with what you have remaining. Just look for deals on parts, combos, and coupon codes. You can save some money on a full build if you spend the time to look at these things and if you are flexible on some components. Then go back and buy the pieces parts you want like mouse, keyboard, etc.

2000$ is plenty and you can easy build a gaming rig with that, that can play all games on ultra 60+ fps.

With this 2000$ do you wanna spend it all on a gaming rig or do you need monitor, keyboard, mouse, os included for that?

even with everything included monitor etc you can easy build an awsome gaming system that plays everything on max.

Do you want options on what parts to pick or did you just wanted to know if 2000$ is enough?

yeah I will save up 2000$ All I want with it is a really nice monitor, a nice keyboard and mouse... Don't post any parts yet because it might change over the amount of time it will take to get the money.... So 2000$ will be good for what I want? Do you think I should just save up a bit more??? Btw I already have a keyboard and mouse I just want a cooler looking one... thanks

no need to save more 2000$ is enough and you will easly fit everything into that budget and get a very high end gaming pc you can get that for less but you can get a little more high end parts for 2000$.

so no need to save more just come back here to this formum whenever you need more info or parts to pick but with 2000$ you will build a really nice gaming pc that will last for many years and future games to be played on ultra settings.

$2000 will get you a nice rig. I will just advise you to make sure that budget is flexible. I've found that when you start looking at parts you sometimes want some nice things and in the end you are a little over budget... sometimes under. Just something to consider. Also, look for combo deals on Newegg and coupon codes. Assuming you are in the US and are looking to purchased from Newegg. I have always bought by parts from them, especially for total builds. If you get a DOA part they are very helpful on returns and what not.

Should I save up more for the fact I want an outstanding monitor, the mad catz strike 7 keyboard, a 100 dollar gaming mouse, and a nice headset? I also wanted to buy a couple games with it. With the computer parts for a build that is great and can play all games on ultra? I know 2000$ is a great amount to save up to but should I save up for more because I want all these features? I can tone it down a bit if needed. If it's too much money. Do I still only need to save up 2000$? I need to know now the exact number I should save up to. thanks

Setting aside the $400 you want for the accessories, $1600 is still a VERY impressive computer. Any build suggested now will change in the many months it would take you to save up for that. But a solid gaming monitor runs aobut $200, and a good mouse and keyboard runs about $150-200

Forget about all of that. I just want to know if you think that paying 2000$ on a computer is worth it. That is a lot of money dropped on a computer.... what if I just wanted to be able to play all games on high. not ultra. would it be cheaper. I have no idea about this. 2000$ just seems like a ton of money. all I want is a kick a$$ computer and other perks like a kick a$$ keyboard and mouse, monitor, and headset. I still want a computer that can play games on ultra but all this coming to play it might be over 2000$ and that's a lot. I want to know the cheapest amount of money to save up so I can get all these things without having to pay a crazy amount.

$2000 is a good amount. I'm sure you can work with that. If you find you are running right up against it, just postpone some of the accessories. Peripherals are very much a personal choice sometimes. I enjoy a nice headset as I listen to music and am very picky with sound. I actually use a pair of Beyerdynamics DT 770 Pro 80 ohm headphones with a cheap Zalman mic. It was $200, but will last forever. I never found a good gaming headset that remotely impressed me. I say save up the $2K and work with that. You can build a decent rig for that.
