Upgrade GT640 in acer m3985 for Zotac GTX 750 ti

Hello, my Aspire m3985 with the following standard setup:
WINDOWS 8
Intel Core i7 processor 3770
nVidia GeForce GT640 4GB OEM
1TB Hard Drive
8GB DDR3 memory
DVD-Super Multi drive
Card Reader

2 fans , one for the cpu and other one is for computer case

i have a Liteon PS-6301-08A 300watt PSu and on the sticker it write

DC OUTPUT :+5v --/20A MAX
:+5v(SB) --/2A MAX
:-12v--/0.5A MAX
:+3.3v--20A MAX
:+12V1--10A MAX
:+12v2--13A MAX

1)Combined Power on +3.3v and +5v rails Not exceed 130w.
2)Combined Power on +12v1 and +12v2 SHALL not exceed 20A
3)At Ambient 25 Celsius total output power shall not exceed 300w
4)At Ambient 50 Celsius total output power shall not exceed 270w




My GT 640OEM the first Row (the 797mhz one) ( http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-640-oem/specifications ) but MINE is a 4 gb quite strange ! So can i change my Gpu form GT 640 to Zotac GTX 750 ti (http://www.zotac.com/products/graphics-cards/geforce-700-series/gtx-750-ti/product/gtx-750-ti/detail/geforce-gtx-750-ti/sort/starttime/order/DESC/amount/10/section/specifications.html) ?

Yes,the 750 can run with your rig,I don't see the 4gb gt 640 and that card don't have anything to do with upgrading to a 750.

The 750 only uses power from the pci e x16 slot,so no point getting a new PSU,and its tdp is about 55w tdp (what i see in tomshardware review)
the pci e x16 provides 75w max so,its a YES!

+ 5Vdc : 20ms Maximum
+ 12Vdc : 20ms Maximum
+ 5Vsb : 20ms Maximum
- 12Vdc : 20ms Maximum

I want to upgrade to EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked, 2GB DDR5. Can my pc run well whit no problem please help me ...

from my experience..u have to upgrade your psu first and then put the gpu in

i already tried on my pc..works fine..use msi gtx 750 ti with 600psu

gtx 750 dont need power cord..just get the power from pcie
