Okay so I finally completed my first ever computer build and everything was running great until I opened the GPU tweak program and everything totally froze and I had to turn off from mains. I thought no more about it until I tried to boot up and was getting no display whatsoever and could not enter BIOS.
So I opened up the case and found that the CPU light was constantly red.. Me in all my noobiness thought it was naturally the CPU and got a replacement but it made no difference. I did a google search and think I have tried most options including: updating bios from USB, removing CMOS battery to reset, reseating all components and tried a totally different GPU.
The only difference BIOS made was when I set it to the very first release. It turned CPU light off and caused DRAM LED to flash constantly. (also if i press it when it isn't lit up it will flash constantly anyways). I have now changed bios back to the settings which were preloaded to mobo and am back to square one. I am beginning to think there is some issue with the mobo but don't understand why it would work one minute then be faulty the next..
My components are: 990fx mobo with amd 8320 processor.
2gb GTX 660 GPU.
2x 4gb Kingston ram
850w PSU.
If im missing vital info please let me know and don't hesitate to ask patronising questions because I am totally new to this and only know very basic terms. So please spell things out for me. THANKS!

Tried that.. I mean it could be the slots but why all of a sudden? And i cannot see any damage to pins but that is the only thing i can imagine it to be. :\ I was hoping not to have to send it off.

I will post a pic in an hour or so if you could take a look that 'd be great.. Like i say sending mobo back is last resort really was having problems with S/N and their phone support is truly awful.

Okay thats my next step although when im trying to use the serial no. on the RMA site i just get the message 'Sorry we are unable to log this product via this form. Please contact your place of purchase for warranty details.'
Obviously ive now contacted the ebay seller about this as it was a 'New warranty replacement' when i bought it and im hoping they can shed light on why i cant get any further.
Any other suggestion are still welcome because I really cant be arsed to send this off and have to wait ages for a replacement. I JUST WANT TO PLAY COD2! :(
