I've searched for this, but can't find any answers. I recently bought an older Mac Pro. It has 2 x Quad Core 3.0GHz with 16GB of RAM with brand new SSD. The graphics card is really outdated though: Radeon 2600 (256mb)
Using OSX Lion, the cursor lags a lot and scrolling pages is not smooth. Even the simplest tasks seem like it's having a tough time keeping up. But when it comes to a heavy task, like rendering 4K video, it performs extremely well. I'm thinking the graphics card is the culprit, since all other specs seem to be great. Thoughts?
