I have two Iomega Zip100 parallel external drives connected to two different computers. The online manual says that I can use an included device driver to optimize the drive's performance provided I have a certain hardware. I have the hardware but couldn't find the indicated driver. I don't know what version of the tools software I have, but it is for DOS, Win3.1, Win95 and the Mac. I am looking for the device driver as these drives are operating very slowly on my computers.

Those Zip drives aren't fast to begin with. The old optimizer didn't improve things all that much.

Understood. I had the same problem with a network using a parallel cable. :(
