Hello,

I am new to computer building, and need a computer for gaming/school. I play minecraft and total war. Could you please suggest computer part that all together total around £400, but you can go over slightly if necessary. I have no prefrance AMD or Intel, but I would rather spend more on the prosessor and less on other components. I would like to be able to upgrade in the future.

Thanks

I new to this, but would it be worth spending more and getting a intel processor? Otherwise looks great!

maurelie you sugested a:
Video Card: Asus Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB Video Card (£76.52 @ Scan.co.uk)

I have just realised i have a graphics card similar to this, given i would now be under budget, what could i use the money on?

(To Arvind Vk) Please express your rage to Intel forums, no fanboyism needed here

The FX 6300 is pretty solid processor for the money and it is always picked by Tom's Hardware team in the category best gaming CPU under $120
Sure i can add intel processor to the build, but the Intel's i 5's start form £130 and will have to cut on some other parts.
Plus you have said in your original post ''I have no preferance AMD or Intel''

Specify you GPU more precisely.

Yes it is almost as 7770, if you can swap it into your new system, than there is no need for new GPU, money can be transferred on other parts. Do you need me to make a revision of the system with out the GPU in the limit of £400

No, problem glad that i could help
Also note that in the future if you buy new GPU, you will need a slightly bigger PSU, i would strongly suggest you to get something like 550-600w PSU, because the system as it is now it will run for 3 years without a problem, you will only need to change GPU every year or two, depends how much you play games.
Better PSU will cost you only £10 more

Hey, you could always use the money on food, saving up for a car or something, or a PSU of some sort.
