1080p with 144Hz with 3D or 1440 Hz ?

is 1440p better than 1080p ?
1440p has no 3D :( n 60HZ

1080P
no 3D , only 60Hz

You guys might say wait for new ROG swift 1440p 120 Hz monitor , but i don't think it supports 3D

Gtx 780 Ti HOF
i7 4770K
1600 Mhz G.skill Ripjaws X ?

I stand corrected back at CES 2014 Asus said that it would support 3D vision. Damn there goes my upgrade plan.

It pretty much comes down to the games you play.

If you play a lot of FPS games, especially if you play competitively, a 1080p monitor with 144Hz will be the best, and only choice for you.

If you play other games that aren't so twitch/reaction based, the extra real estate of a 1440p monitor is outstanding (I just recently switched from 1080p to 1440p and it's gorgeous).
