Hello, i was looking for upgrading my actual PC Tower (the case,not the entire components) to a bigger one for better fitting and space and cable management (somehow this last one).
I'm a big fan of the Blue LEDs and after looking around the shops i normally shop computer stuff in Barcelona i came across the Thermaltake Chaser A71, wich i haven't seen in person but from the looks and reviews it looks like a good deal for those doesn't wants a "Monster looking tower"..or something ^^;
The reason is because my Antec 900 already has a few years and it's not sold anymore, that's why a great upgrade would benefit the actual times.. Like USB 3.0, bigger in size and internal space, cable management for the air flow (and better view of the inside) and well,ofcourse, BLUE LEDs and the sidepanel's window and big fan.
My actual parts of my rig are (excluding tiny parts)
Case: Antec 900
CPU Cooler: Thermaltake Frio OCK (touches Antec 900's window yet it can still close nicely)
GPU: nVidia GIGABYTE 660GTX ti OC 2GB (Kinda messes with the HDDs SATA cables)
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 700W (Lost the bag of cables X_X;....)
Just 2 USB 2.0 ports (better access with the CA71's 3.0 for urgency instead of going to the back of the tower below the table ^^;..)
The thing is..is it worth upgrading to the Chaser A71?..I've seen other towers but their looks were a bit simple or simply not my type
On another topic.. I also wanted to upgrade my GPU to a bit bigger Wattage one..i know 700W are good enough but i might probably end up doing SLI someday and want my GPU to be ready for it... So i've been looking around and then there's this "Thermaltake SMART 850W MODULAR" PSU, with "hella long cables" and also in big quantities.. The reason for the GPU is not only to renew it but also for the cables,since the new tower is TALLER by 3 fingers than the Antec 900.
I KNOW i can buy cables separatedly but..i don't trust the ones from the city ^^;..also they might be uncompatible..
What do you guys think?..Think you could help me out,please?...I'm a Thermaltake fan so i might end up getting those 2 in the end but who knows @@;
Thanks in advance
