Recently I upgraded my pc to the g1 sniper x87 motherboard and I've had a bunch of problems, now the only problem remaining is I cannot connect to the internet.

I'm using an Asus PCI-g3I WLAN card to connect to wifi, but it's about 5 years old now, the cd that came with the card have drivers, after attempting to install them multiple times they seem to be old as the software that comes with the card won't run. Windows states I do not have the correct drivers afterwards.

I then tried an Ethernet cable through the motherboard Ethernet port straight to my hub, also not working. Windows fails to recognise any sort of Ethernet cable. I've tried multiple cables and none work, tried resetting everything multiple times to no avail.

All motherboard drivers are installed from the cd that came with the motherboard, I don't know what else to try, can someone please help before the pc gets thrown out the window!!!

Thanks for reading, any help at all is appreciated.

It's enabled, and the computer recognises it, but the driver software I have is outdated and won't run

Best answer accidentally chosen to be honest, using my phone right now and accidentally clicked the wrong button, I fixed it by using another pc to download the driver for the card into a USB stick
