My rig is in my signature. I want to replace my two GTX 670s with a single card solution. I have been looking at the 300-450 dollar range and can't decide on anything.
Needs:
Good for gaming

I'm just looking for a second opinion on this, to make sure I'm making the right choice,

Wow, dual 670's should be turning in pretty good performance. May I ask what you are trying to accomplish with your upgrade? Is there a particular problem you're trying to solve?

the 4gb 770 will handle alot better than the 2gb version and will max any game at 1080p this is the perfect card for the price you added and you will see alot better performance with it.

I was thinking about a 770. I would like to get a few more opinions as well though.

I don't think you'll see any performance increase, if not even a decrease. Two 670's are stronger than one 770.
But i need more opinions on this.

SLI brings about a huge list of problems, and I would rather have a good single GPU rather than two lesser GPUs. It will save me headaches in the future.

I don't care if the performance is better. I don't want to mess around with SLI anymore. The time investment is not worth the extra FPS in game, especially when I've spent all the time I had messing about with the computer.

I just bought an ASUS 2GB GTX 770 one week ago. It is a great investment for gaming and graphics mod. Practically 2/3 of a titan for 1/3 the price. My only advice is that make sure you have a powerful, CONTINUOUS PSU (unlike me) and buy a 4GB Vram 770 for graphics mod'ing games (like Skyrim). I maxed out my ASUS 770 2GB VRAM on Skyrim mods already, but I am still impressed by the 770 processing performance and fps output. I was glad I invested my money on a 770 and I am very satisfied with my 770. You won't be disappointed. It also runs really cool, the ASUS 770. So far I haven't exceeded 62 Celsius.

*Do more research if planning on buying a 780 or Titan. You'll be throwing money away on a 780/Titan if you're not running 3 monitors or a resolution monitor higher than 2k. Don't need that many CUDA Cores unless you need the extra processing for more pixels and extensive graphics data. Gamers make this mistake a lot. This is my opinion in remarks to data specs, newegg tutorials, and reviews from PC techs. Ultimately, it's your money.

I figured it would end up 770. My PSU is pretty good. Its an XFX 850 watt, and it should do fine. thanks for explaining yourself a bit more. the 770 seems to be the choice for a GPU today.
