If you mean are they compatible, yes they are. I'm no expert by any means, as I recently bought all the parts for my first build myself, but I thought I should try and answer some peoples questions if I can, considering all the help I got in these forums. I just did a real quick check on pcpartpicker.com (which you should check out if you haven't already btw), and it's showing they're definitely compatible, so there's no problem there.

This is certainly not the case with games like Crysis 3, Assassin's Creed IV, and a slew of upcoming next-gen games. My 1st gen i7 nearly maxed out in Crysis 3. More newer games will eventually be more optimized for 8-core CPUs.

How does hyperthreading compare to actual cores? Wouldn't getting an FX 8320 or 8350 be better than getting a four-core i7 with hyperthreading?
