Network Adapter Disconnecting Constantly

For a while now, my network adapter has been shutting off constantly when I play any multiplayer game. I have unchecked the box regarding turning off the device to save power and have also updated all my networking drivers. This problem happens with both wired/wireless connection.

Solution
Do you have wireless disabled, or still enabled? I would disable it just incase it's interfering with the network stack. Next step would be to update your drivers, and then I would run some stress tests with your networking. Transfer a couple TB around your network so you can see what's happening. Another thing you could do is fire up Wireshark and have it capture in the background while you're gaming. Then after the connection has dropped a time or two, go back through the capture logs. Just be warned that your system WILL perform like a hunk of junk while the capture is running.

So, are you gaming on Wireless, or Wired? Need a little more information here. Like, what OS, what cards, is it wired, wireless, what is the adapter binding order (Hopefully you don't have both going at the same time), is the wired and wireless on the same subnet, how are you connected to the internet? Do you have a router? Can you see if the router or switch is dropping the connection? I had an old DLink router that would drop my connections quite often under "moderate" strain.

Same trouble here. Wired network adapter disconnects, wireless disconnects as well but reconnects on its own. Have to reset the network adapter on the wired computer to get internet back every hour or so. Also, my clock doesnt turn on the wired desktop.

Was unsuccessful but tried a
fresh install,
updating drivers,
enabled ipv4 and ipv6 stack in the bios
enabled same in system/system properties in the device manager,
also 'recieve side scaling' disabled,
also hard reset the router/modem
and disabled power saving options in the device manager - all of em

Not having any luck.
