Ok so my graphics card Asus GTX560 does not not support 3 monitors, only 2. I know I would have to sli it if I wanted to run 3 monitors but at that point I would rather just buy a new high end AMD card. Oh and sli isn't an option anyways since my mobo only supports crossfire. I plan on upgrading to a new amd card eventually but I would like to delay it as long as possible.

To be clear I only plan on gaming on 1 monitor at a time. My third monitor is my tv I use for watching tv/movies. It is just really annoying having to turn one monitor off to get the tv on. Is there any way I can accomplish this on the cheap or will I just have to settle and buy a new card?

with newer gpu with dvi and hdmi you have to use a hdmi cable for the 3 monitor. if the card wont turn on your tv if you have an intel or amd with built in gpu on the cpu you can turn on the ipgpu and run one monitor off the onboard chipset.

You could use your integrated graphics on your motherboard to attach the third monitor? If your cpu has integrated graphics that is. You might have to go into your BIOS to enable the use of your integrated graphics so you can use it at the same time as your discrete graphics.
