windows 8 is unquestionably faster than win7 and the gamers seem to like the increase in performance.personally i dont like the interface but with the start button program from iobit its just like using a faster windows7.i ignore the metro entirely.

it addresses some performance issues and gives you their idea of a start button to toggle between desktop and metro.me,i like the win7 look but win8 does run crisper.cant wait to see what win9 is gonna be like.if you like the metro look, this is a good upgrade for you.
