Looking to upgrade my graphics card. Budget is around 300$. my PC specs are
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
Cpu: AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz
RAM: 17.16 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650
Motherboard: GA-78LMT-USB3 (Socket M2)
PSU: 450W(don't know exact model)
Resolution: 1920x1080 60 Hz Refresh Rate
Trying to find the best card at that price to go with my system. Some say a gtx 650 isn't bad but i want to play games at higher settings. *updated*(now showing psu and resolution)

More about : recommended graphics card

What is the resolution?
A 760 or 770 would be good, at higher resolutions 4GB models.
Either from EVGA or ASUS.

well the 760 is the best in the price range but some times you canfind 770 for 290-300 if you catch them on sale
you may need another power supply though can you post your make model of power supply?
here are the best 760s imo

You would need to upgrade the PSU, to a quality 500+ power supply (600 preferably, at least 30A on the 12V rail)

1080p isnt a higher resolution, so a 2GB model of the 760 is enough, unless you want to SLI or upgrade later.

for that psu you will need a new psu

this is plenty of headroom for your needs in the power department
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650snlb...

and go with this 760 and be 10 dollars over budget but best bang for your buck

or go 20 dollars over budget and get one of these

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-n7602gd5oci...

i would go with the evga and save up an extra 20 dollars

Any recommendations on a psu i should upgrade to ? Also is there a better benefit in getting a 4gb model? I play a variety of games going from MMOs to FPS(Such as Battlfield 4 that requires 3gbs) So was wondering if i would benefit more if i got a 4gb model? Like what about http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ? would i need to upgrade something else for this besides psu ? and would i benefit from this one more ?

That is a good card, for PSUs the one previously linked is a quality model.

The benefit for 4GB is with SLI or high resolutions. When you SLI they share memory, dont add, so you wouldnt want to be limited to 2GB. Higher revolutions, and some games, demand 4Gb. If you have the money, it will be there when you need it, you can save some cash.
