BSOD during game play

Recently I install a graphics card, MSI HD 7770. Now whenever I play a game for about 15 min, the computer crashes with a BSOD and it displays my graphics driver in the BSOD 'atikmpg.sys'(or something similar). All of my drivers and Motherboard BIOS are up to date.
System is Windows 7 64bit. A10-6790k, 8GB RAM 1866, ASUS A85XM-A FM2, 1TB HDD.
before when using the integrated graphics on from the A10, there was no issues other than low FPS at times. Anyone have any ideas?

make sure nothing in your system is overheating, and that your psu is powerful enough to run the 7770 (doesnt take much, but still a possibility)

The graphics card doesn't get above ~70 Celsius
it's a 500W PSU

check apu temps as well

also, make sure that you have the latest drivers installed from amd, and that you are running on the drivers for the 7770 instead of the ones for your apu

I don't see why the APU would overheat, seeing as how it was used before without a problem. But I did uninstall all previous AMD drivers from computer then installed HD 7000 series windows 7 64bit then installed chipset drivers.

dony play any game, check if computer restarts..... becuase it could be an OS-driver problem, and does the BSOD error read 0x50 ntoskrnl???
