Hi. #1 worst when it comes to computers, so I was hoping I could get a little help from someone. I'm looking to make (or buy) a computer that would be ideal for mainly rendering, but also some gaming. I would like to use programs like Sony Vegas and other editing programs. Maybe make music, not sure, maybe someday. Gaming isn't my top priority, however I would like to play some games with friends. They recommended some games like PoE, Battlefield...however I don't need to play them on the best graphics, as long as they run smoothly most of the time, I'm fine. Like I said, rendering, music making software would be my main focus. I saw thishttp:// and I thought it looked pretty nice, but I could be wrong.

All I know is that I'll need a good processor with numerous cores, and lots of ram.
I checked out some processors, and I think the AMD FX-8350 would be a good choice, so I'd like to have this processor in the computer. I'm thinking about 24GB of RAM should do. I'd also like liquid cooling, and the computer to be fairly quiet. I don't know much about the motherboard, graphics, etc.

That's about it. Budget wise I'm out around $2000.00. I'm looking to build a machine with quality parts, not something that'll be sent to the repair shop as soon as I buy it. I appreciate any feedback on this post, and I appreciate those suffering through my noobish post! :)

Thanks much, greatly appreciated!

you better start from here
all with the best quality parts, as requested
i7 is much better than 8350 in rendering
16 RAM is okay, you can add a pair later for 32GB ram
