ok, so I own a Asrock 990FX Extreme 4 Motherboard, and a Silencer MK2 950 Watt High Performance Power Supply
I am replacing two XFX Radeon 7770 HD Ghost Edition Graphics cards with a XFX Radeon R9 290X Double Dissipation Graphics Card.
The Graphics card powers up fine, However I seem to be unable to get a video signal.
The card didn't come packaged with specific instructions on how to install it, but I'm fairly certain I have it hooked up properly. I tried looking for online instructions, but have yet to find any.
now, I did have to switch DVI adapters, because the one I previously had had the 4 prongs around the long stretched out one, but the new card doesn't have holes for those 4 prongs.
the other thing I found peculiar about this card (that i've never seen on a card before) is the requirement of having to connect Male Molex connectors from the card to female molex connectors from the power supply.
either way, it powers up properly, so i'm very confused as to why i'm not receiving a signal..
any ideas?
