Just a quick question, I'm building a gaming PC for my girlfriend and she needs a monitor. I was going to give her my old 1080p monitor and upgrade to a 1440p. Would a 660 Ti 3GB be good enough for a 1440p monitor? I run games on ultra now but I supposed I'd settle for a trade-off of running games on high with 1440p if I had to. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

this will show you some performance specs from games that were new when the 660ti was new as well
that being said it does descent enough in those games but newer games are more demanding and would likely cause you to play on high settings with some tweaking the trade off would be nice and you can always save up for a gtx 860-880 when they are released so it would give you some options rather than just getting another 1080p monitor. id say do it if all else fails you can always play 1080p resolution on the 1440p monitor.
