just bought an Xbox 360 controller (wired) .. .and want to plug it into my PC usb port.

little tag on the bottom says "joypad for xbox"

However the xbox cord ends in a square male end about 4x the size of a usb plug. I imagine that would go into the xbox .. . but I don't have an xbox.

suggestions?

return it and buy one of the xbox 360 controllers which have a usb cable..

however i still say it will be best to just get the xb360 variant which works for pc.

thanks all .. . I have never had an xbox .. or played one .. .ever. I got one so maybe I might .. .someday work up to getting one .. . but I didn't realize there were so many different versions .. . and this one was for the original version . .. so back it goes. thanks for the help!
