So, I'm moving in with a room-mate who doesn't like loud sounds. I'm okay with this, but the thing is... I have a surround sound set up for my computer, and I don't have a good set of headphones for my computer, and the mic that's on that "not a good set" of headphones kinda goes in and out, and is very low quality...

So, I was looking for a set of good headphones that can replicate a good surround sound set up, and a decent mic that I can clip on to that pair of headphones. (I just can't watch Game of Thrones in standard stereo... like, at all... it just loses something in the transfer, for me. Plus, gaming... I know it'll be a great upgrade from what I currently have.)

What do you mean Drivers, the Plantronic Drivers are completely fine and you get fantastic 7.1 audio surround, like I said the attached mic is clear and crisp, I would highly recommend these! If you don't like them repack and send them back.

The Plantronics Gamecom 780s are a fantastic set of headphones, 7.1 virtual surround and I use them so I can confirm that they are great, reviews say they break easily but I've dropped mine even sat on them and not a crack, they are very comfortable to wear for a long time and they have a built in microphone which is very crisp and clear. I love mine!

I was hoping for a set of actual headphones, and a separate clip on mic. (Most of my friends keep telling me that headset drivers are worse then headphone drivers, no matter the price. I really don't know what to believe, since I've never had a good pair of headphones/headset.)
