Looking to upgrade my PC - Not sure what parts to do first.

Going to give a list of some of my current components, not really looking to buy a new PC but upgrade some individual parts.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB Dual Channel DDR3
HD: No SSD - Standard 2 TB HD

Running a 60hz 2560x1440 Monitor, starting to get pretty bad frame rates in most mid to highend games.

Was considering going to the Nvidia 780 Ti, but was unsure if this would be the best upgrade for me. Budget will be around $700-900.

Edit: Powersupply is able to handle most upgrades by the way, shouldn't be a concern.

I run a 770 fine with the CX600 and I think that only delivers 30Amps.

I would say if you had amps with the upgrade price, go with a 780 TI K|NGP|N Edition, which is 800$ itself but even with that you could still get a better power supply, I have a 780ti K|NGP|N and its so damn fast

Oh so it looks like i'd actually have to end up changing my PSU as well if I went for the 780. I don't think that's really a problem though, I can do that.
The GPU is what's holding back my performance from what I gather right?

Basically. The CPU could be faster but that doesn't effect the video performance much. Any new video card would be an upgrade.

Thanks, when I checked online a few said 46 but most said 30, thanks for clearing that for me :)
