A individual want me to build them a computer with american made xomponents , I guess with all the made in America marketing becoming so popular that there is more demand for american made things.
I have explained to this individual that may not be the best route as they are really limiting themselves and I'd still be the one doing a quality check to insure the system works.
I know Intel has fab centers in the us that are finished in packaging in Asia and Costa rica.
I think amd has GPUs made in the us but the rest made in Taiwan and China.
I know of only one american memory manufacturer, gigaram who appears to claim on YouTube they manufacture in California.
Motherboards I think supermicro makes theirs in the us with sourced components.
I know of one case manufacturer in the us but the power supply, harddrive and CD drive would probably be sourced. Any suggestions?
