Hello,
My PC Configuration is
Intel E7500 2.93 GHz
Monitor : LG 18.5" 1366x768 Res
Intel DG41RQ MoBo
RAM : 2 GB DDR2

I am planning to buy GFX card i.e Nvidia GT610 or Nvidia GT620 or ATI HD5450. Can't afford anyother other from these, so no option of selecting other.

My SMPS is iBall LPE223-400 which is working good with no problems from last 4 years.
The ratings shows something like :
Input 230V AC 50/60 HZ
And below ratings shows as :
+3.3V +5V +12V -12V
25A 32A 17A 0.8A

I would like to know whether this PSU can run above mentioned gfx cards easily ?

Also, I would like to know will I be able to play COD franchise, Dota 2, Trine series & WoW in med to low settings ?

Please help :)

Yes it will work fine with your power supply. No you will not be able to play COD unless it's one of the older ones. I mean it will play but you will get really low frame rates and get destroyed by other players online. It should run Dota 2 and shrine on lower settings and resolution. I'm not sure about Wow, I'm not familiar with it.

Thanks for information.
My motherboard has inbuilf intel chipset g41 one, which can run COD MW1 in extremely low settings. So, I thought this gfx card will be capable to run some of it's sequels too.

I think all the modern warfare's use the same graphics engine, so theoretically if you can play CoD4, you can play CoD6 and CoD8. CoD4 wasn't actually that demanding and I would imagine that you could play on medium settings since your resolution is 1366x768.

The HD6450 and GT620 are about equal, so just get whichever one is cheaper. I think the 5450 does actually use a little less power though (maybe 5W less at load), so that might be a safer card to go for.

All of the cards listed are below entry level, not even designed for gaming, that's why I wouldn't recommend them for a competitive online shooter. If you're lucky you might get 30fps with the right settings, but you will be playing against people like me who get 100fps and use a 120hz monitor, so it's not really fair.

He's playing on a 1366x768 screen. 30fps at medium settings shouldn't be a problem. My brother's old gt210 could play metro 2033 on a 1600x900 screen at 30fps.

So, should I go for GT610 ?
or should I wait little bit more & opt for AMD R7 240 1GB DDR5 or something equivalent that you'd like to suggest? I guess that card will require additional power supply, so my budget might increase even more.

All I want is to play few games that are in my wishlist :
Dota2, COD Franchise, Skyrim, The Witcher series. GTA 4 and couple more.

Kindly tell what's best for me ? I can raise bar of budget if it's necessary. (But I have to wait for 2-3 months more)

Well, to be honest, if you could get a decent 300W psu (something with at least 20A on the +12v rail) and an HD7750 or equivalent (I guess r7 250), you would be set to play at your current resolution. Otherwise, I would recommend getting the cheaper of either the gt620 or hd5450.

There's almost no reason to try to buy the gt610 because the gt620 can be found for the same price.

Yeah but like I said 30fps vs other people playing at 100fps isn't really fair. He could get high frame rates on most COD games at that resolution with a 7750 gddr5.
