Very frustrating issue. My motherboard is the Foxconn MCP73M01H1 (HP Napa-GL8E) and my processor is the E2160 @ 1.8 GHz. I have tried many different solutions that I troubleshooted online such as setting an admin and user password in BIOS and then disabling them, which did absolutely nothing. Also I tried hitting Ctrl + 1 in the main menu of BIOS, as some have suggested, and nothing happens at all. The parts that are grayed out are the parts that show all my RAM and CPU information. What's wrong? Very frustrating!

some foxconn boards allow overclocking some foxconns dont. is this a prebuilt factory system? if this is the case you cannot overclock on the board because they lock the voltages

Those are just information for you to see and not allowed to alter.

Update: Pre-built PC that are not meant for gaming usually will not give you the options to overclock, and this PC is not meant for gaming, therefore probably cannot be overclocked due to BIOS limitation.

No it's not a pre-built system. Earlier today I was running Windows Vista 32 bit and everything in BIOS was fine. I upgraded to Windows 7 32 bit a couple of hours ago and noticed this. Can upgrading to a 64 bit of Win 7 possibly help? How about possibly resetting the BIOS via CMOS battery?

What do you mean it's not pre-built? I'm just curious because that motherboard led me straight to HP's website.

Upgrading OS will not affect BIOS functionality.

You can try resetting CMOS by removing the battery, but I doubt anything will change.
