Looking for an efficient power supply

Hey guys so im building a new rig soon with a reference 7970 and an overclocked 4770k
I'm kinda wondering what power supply to get.

I dont mind how big it is but i really want modular cables that look good. Im also pretty sure 550 watts is enough so I am thinking of getting the corsair Rm 550.
It looks good and is quiet.(I think).

SO guys what do you think of this power supply and any other recommendations.

P.s I live in Australia and my budget is around 150 dollar (give or take 20)

Avoid RM - corsair cheaped out on the caps.

What about one of these? Very high quality, and should be quiet.

That unit is mediocre at best. In that price range, the absolute best unit you will find is the Seasonic Platinum 660XP 660W, it goes for 150ish USD. Another outstanding unit is the Super Flower Leadex Gold 750W, but that is more expensive and more power than you really are looking for. Just get the 660CP it will treat you well.
  3. I would go for that seasonic 660xp but they dont sell it here I'm pretty sure or its probably gonna be really expensive
  4. $219 for the 660XP2. Kind of overkill, too.

That 550W one is a very good machine, and a decent price.
