Is a8 6600k is enough for games like cod ghost, ac3,bf3 etc
Or should I dedicate some external graphics .
I also want know which is more important shader core or base frequency (graphic engine).

It depends on your monitor's resolution. In addition, is 30 fps decent enough? or are you looking for 60 fps?

Update: This video (in Spanish, I think) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8EtdElsDpc shows that he was able to use a8 6600k, low-medium settings, 30-45 fps, 1280x768.

Update 2: This video (again, I think in Spanish) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jk3mZzfAWBg shows BF4 single player mode. A8-6600K, low-medium, 1680x1050, average at about 25fps

I had an a4 before and i can play far cry 3 with low setting and it is so playable.
