gx745 hard drive in a gx280

I have a Dell gx280sff, can you tell me if I can install a hard drive out of a gx745 with windows 7 and will it boot up. If not what can I do if anything to make it work.

If it's a 3.5in hdd, then it will fit.

If GX280 supports sata you can connect it up.

As for booting, it may or may not, depends if W7 has the required drivers installed, although Safe Mode owuld be a good start.

Thanks for the quick reply, It is a sata so it will hook up ok and it measures 3.5" and looks like it will fit fine. I found this site http://softinpc.com/pc-support/dell-optiplex-gx280-windows-7-drivers-free-download/ that has the drivers I will need, if there is anything else that you might thing of that I will need please let me know..
