plz help me build a PC at about INR 50000
I have shortlisted the following components..

CPU :- i5 3450 Rs 11447
Motherboard :- gigabyte b75m-d3h Rs 4641
RAM :- Transcend jet RAM 8gb 1600 MHz Rs. 5099
PSU :- Corsair Vs-450 Rs. 2261
Hard Disk :- WD Caviar Blue 500gb 7200rpm Rs 3139
Asus DVD Burner :- 1192
Cabinet :- You guys suggest which can utilize the full capability of the said motherboard like 2 USB 3.0 , hdmi and so on
Ssd :- Kingston 64gb Rs 4000
Graphic Card :- nvidia gtx 650 1GB ddr5 or Sapphire HD 7750 2GB ddr3 or any other for around Rs 7000
Monitor :- LG 18.5inch 1600x900

Guys is the above specification upto the mark? I will be mostly using Photoshop and some games like COD but games will be not that frequent. Also I will be booting OS on SSD.. Further is there any area where I can save few bucks?

Very decent build, will last at least 5 years or more. here are some suggestions

RAM: Why not Corsair/GSkill, they generally last longer, it only adds about 1k
HDD: Why not 1 TB, you go through disk space very fast, it only adds 1k
Monitor: why not a 23" one, you will at least need a full HD 1920 X 1080 and some extra screen real estate, it adds about 4k
UPS: this really saves your pc from the unending power outages, it adds about 2k
Case/Cabinet: Look for a cooler master mATX with USB 3, they are somewhat affordable

One area where you can save is peripherals. You really do not need a key board, mouse, headset, webcam, etc. that cost thousands. Any local made one will do just fine, unless you prefer the branded ones.

I was more concerned about the compatability of the above components.. Like will they work together without any glitch or BSD? and which graphic card should I go for from the two..
Also is there any amd equivalent of the said i5 processor which costs lesser?
And I will go for the corsair ram...
Now coming to the cabinet.. Do all cabinets can accommodate the said processor and graphic card.. I mean the sockets and stuff..
Coming to the 500gb hdd, I already have 500gb in my external hard drive and the same amount in my lappy :D
And for the monitor.. I don't want a gigantic one as I am gonna work close to it so 20inch at Max..

yes, all parts are compatible

- your cpu and mobo are ivy bridge
- your mobo supports 1600 MHz with an ivy bridge processor
- the ssd gets one sata III 6 gbps on the mobo, so you are good there as well
- between the graphics cards, i'd personally pick an AMD for efficiency and temperature

on your cabinet selection, you have only one criteria. your mobo is mATX and so you can pick any matx or above. on your qn on whether the graphics cards can be put in, just dont go with the slim ones, just stick to regular matx size and you are good to go

i dont know enought about amd stream to comment about

Should this be good enough?
http://www.snapdeal.com/product/cooler-master-n400-cabi...

and also is 450w psu sufficient?

I hope after these 2 queries, my PC is ready to rock.. :D  thanks for your help

thats a cooler master n400, that's an over kill, you can actually hide a small car inside that cabinet. they have n300 and n200 as well, and the 200 should be good enough. you can always buy bigger one if you have space no problem.

on psu, if you plan to get the NVIDIA 650, you will need 550 W minimum, and if you plan to get the AMD 7750, then 350 w is enough.

here is a page that you can use for estimating power needs.

http://support.asus.com/powersupply.aspx

and you can ask any # of qns that you may have; this forum is for q&a only, no other purpose;

My last concern... Will 450 Watt psu be enough? I m going with radeon HD 7770. Amd site recommends abt 600watt psu :sarcastic:

then, id get the 600 - 650 w range psu. lower wattage ones will blow up when under load.

ps: keep this wattage in mind when buying a UPS
