Hey guys I have a computer that Gives out HDMI, GFX CARD is 750 Ti if that makes any sense. The problem is that my monitor is VGA, doesn't have a HDMI socket.
So is there a way to still connect both of them so that I can continue with all my daily work?

Solution
HDMI is a digital connection, VGA is an analog connection. As a result, you cannot connect an HDMI to VGA by simply using an adapter. You actually need a converter to connect HDMI to VGA.

Provide what connection your monitor has and we would be able to give a definite answer.

He said his monitor is VGA. But you are right though. A converter is what you need. 750ti's normally have dvi ports though. You wouldn't need a converter to use a dvi to vga cable. so maybe try that?

That's what I was thinking also. But it just would have been nice for the OP to either post his monitor specs or at least state what connections the monitor had.

He specifically said that his monitor is vga and doesnt have hdmi.

Uh, yeah...I got that...which is, again, why I asked the OP to state what connections his monitor had...I am not going to ass-u-me that his VGA monitor has DVI connections...I don't know about you, but I do have monitors that have VGA but no DVI connections... which is what you ass-u-me by stating that he can just use a DVI to VGA cable...if his monitor does not have a DVI connection, then your advice is useless.

Have a nice day!

LOL! I had this monitor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001168 which has the only VGA connection and it worked fine with this adapter http://forum.videohelp.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=15319&d=1356194189 until i changed my monitor to 1920x1080p monitor because my MSI GTX-760 Twin Frozr doesn't have VGA connection on it
