i have a alienware 17x r2 with a samsung 256 gb ssd i want to switch it out for a toshiba 500 gb 7200 rpm hdd will this turn out bad

Solution
The best thing to do is leave the SSD as the boot drive and use the 500 gb as a data drive. all you have to do is connect the 2nd drive in the open slot and windows will assign it the next available drive letter. If you not happy with that you can change the drive letters around. Example move the new drive to D instead of your optical DVD/CD drive the the optical to E.
