Okay, a quick question before I get to that. The cable for the motherboard has two connectors that plug in to the PSU. Do I plug both in?

For my main problem;
Basically, the cable that is marked 'CPU' does not fit in to my motherboard. The circles/squares do not match up. One end is an 8pin plug the other that is marked 'CPU' is a 2x 4pin connector.

Help would be greatly appreciated so that I can complete my first ever build.

Pictures are not a problem. I am trying to plug it in the right place?

I've circled red where I am trying to plug it in:

Here's the 8pin:

And the 2x 4pin:

Excuse the huge photos -.-

The 8pin fits both the motherboard and the PSU, the CPU pin doesn't fit either. I really don't see anywhere else on the motherboard it could go... because where I'm trying to put it the PCI-E cables would fit.

It does indeed fit, but it's a pain. You have to line up the 2 4 pin chunks just right and push them in together. It took me several tries to get the 8 pin power in and I'm still surprised I didn't snap the board putting in the 24 pin power. I don't know if it's just a general thing with PSU, but the AX 760 power cables seemed a bit poorly measured out to me
