Hello, today I want to ask you guys:
Which headset are better for PS4. I will also use one of these to livestream.

Megalodon - realeased in 2009, includes a pad which you can control mic or volume with. 7.1 Surround Sound

OR

Razer Kraken 7.1 - realeased in 2013. Includes 7.1 Surround Sound and a good mic.

Okay, answer simply please. Just want to know which one I should buy. Don't give me advanced information because I am noob at this. In my opinion Megalodon is better. Right?

The simulated 7.1 is pretty terrible. Sound placement is good, but the sound quality is so much worse than stereo that it isn't worth using. You're better off just getting a quality stereo headset than using either of those.

i wasn't too crazy about either of them to be honest. the kraken's build quality was a bit better than the megalodon, but the mic quality was meh.

the megalodon had to be broken in a for a while before the 7.1 stopped sounding hollow. it wasn't a huge drawback, it just took a bit longer than anticipated

if you truly want good quality, test some hi-fi stereo models before going with razer imho. sennheiser, audio technica, beyerdynamic
