When using Microsoft Outlook, as I type the cursor tends to skip to random areas (causing me to type over my text). How can I stop the cursor from skipping around as I type? Outlook 2013

I had a similar issue, and for me it was caused by my keyboard being plugged into a USB 3.0 port. I have no idea why this was or why it was application specific, but when I changed ports to a 2.0 the problem went away. Maybe this might help you?
