which is best for gaming windows 7 or 8

I have core i3-2120(3.30ghz)
Sapphire R9 270x toxic edtion ddr5 2GB
4GB RAM......1333mhz
So guys suggest me which one us better???
Before dat i was using win 8x64 bit nw im using win 7x64 bit

What would make you say that? With newer games such as Battlefield 4 being exclusively optimized for Windows 8.1, and the DirectX 11.1 exclusive which greatly improves CPU performance in games that support it (since the original poster only has a 2nd generation i3, this is practically a necessity), Windows 8.1 is hands-down better than Windows 7 for gaming. Windows 7 is a pretty OS, but Windows 8 just performs so much better.

because all of my friends who have upgraded to win8 have experienced nothing but problems with win8 for gaming, but i could be wrong!

 


It likely isn't the operating system causing the issues. It is likely the user, improper maintenance, or lack of proper configuration. "Computer" problems can be mostly prevented, as not many problems are spontaneous. Most of the time, it is due to a user error.
