fx6300 with radeon r9 270 or 270x. if you can manage to squeeze in an 8320, even better. make sure you have an amd 9xx chipset motherboard.

In my country the difference between the 6300 and 4130. 6300 is around 50 USD more and thats why i can't get a 660 with the 6300

What games do you play? I think what you are saying is impossible. Make sure that you have got the prices right. An i3-4130 can't be 50$ cheaper than a FX-6300.

What about the 4300? The 6300 is a much better CPU than the 4130, and will handle games that are CPU intensive much better.

He's talking about the FX 4130; previous generation AMD FX series.

that's unfortunate. in that case, how are the intel core i3 cpus priced in your country? if they're under fx6300 price and around fx4xx cpus, and you're buying cpu+ motherboard (core i3 + b85 or h81) - that will be better option for gaming over the zambezi fx4130.

The i3-4130 will handle games like Skyrim, Thief( At least at the moment since Mantle support is on its way for this game) ,Assassins Creed 4 and MMOs better because of its stronger single core performance. The FX-6300 will handle games like Crysis 3, BF4, Metro: Last light better because they are better optimized for multi core processors. At 1080p you will probably be GPU bottlenecked and you won't notice much of a difference. If you like MMOs and the other games that favors Intel's stronger single core performance then the i3 is a no brainer. If you are planning to overclock in the future and/or you prefer the games that multi-thread well than the FX-6300 is a valid option as well.

darn. :S
the reason i'm trying to find alternative to fx4130 is because it's not a good cpu for gaming. not good on it's own, let alone compared to others. so my vote goes to fx6300 and radeon hd 7850. get a better graphics card down the line.
edit: just in case - if radeon r7 265 has launched in denmark, you should check out it's price. if it's cheaper than 7850, then get that one instead. both cards are based on the same gpu, but you get 2GB gddr5 vram and updated bios for r7 265.

Either way, the 6300 + 7850 would be your best bet then. Better performance in BF4, and the 6300 will be much better for multiplayer games.

I was thinking to get the FX 4130 and 660 and down the line upgrade the FX 4130 to a 6300,8320 or 8350

And the r7 265 costs around 40 USD more than a 7850

Titanfall is using source engine (2004) and I don't think it will multithread well on weaker AMD cores. If the i3-4130 is only slightly more priced than the FX-6300 then you should get it. The 7850 has very similar performance to the GTX 660 so if it is cheaper you should get it as well. But I am not sure about XFX cards, some people complain about their cooling solutions.

that's an okay... idea. then the upgrade shouldn't be less than fx8320/8350 - it has double the resources of fx4130.

the hell? it has the same darn gpu.. then 7850 it is.

Don't do that. Get the better CPU now, and then a better GPU later. A better GPU later will give you much better performance later than the CPU upgrade will.

But the GPU costs a lot more than a CPU, i will be getting the computer in about 1-2 months so the prices might drop and maybe i can get a 6300 with a 660 who knows :)

Yes, but if you get the 6300 now, then later you buy another 7850 and CrossFire it, you will have MUCH better performance than just upgrading the CPU.
