Hello everyone,

I hope this in the correct forum.

I have the CoolerMaster Elite 130 and it has one 120mm in the front and on 80mm on the side towards the back. Here is a link it, just in case (hahaha...see what I did there?):

I am wondering the best way to direct the airflow in my case. Right now, I have the 120mm in the front blowing in and the 80mm exhausting out. Would there be any benefit to switching it around where the 120mm in the fron is exhausting and the 80mm in the rear blowing in?

Here are my specs, if it helps:

i5 4570 with a stock cooler
2 x 4GBs Crucial Ballistic RAM
Gigabyte H81N mobo
Corsair 450 Watt modular PSU
120GB SSD.
I do not plan on using a GPU.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Thanks for the reply!

I have the PSU installed with the fan facing up. So, I should be good to go with the default set up?

I would say you should be good to go. If you ever do get a GPU get a blower style if possible keeps the hot air from staying in that small case.

a power supply is not going to give you air flow.. and if it does it will be hot air.. you want your front and side panel fans incoming... and 1 exhaust fan in the back. it is important to have more fans blowing in than blowing out, as that creates a positive pressure inside the case, which keeps the dust out.

This case is a little weird they way it is set up you can set the PSU fan so it draws air from the space over the mobo directly over the CPU on most mobo or upside down to draw air from the out side. It also only has space for two other fans an 80mm and a 120mm. Other than that I agree 100%.
