Recently I built myself a new machine, I went to install windows 8.1 on it from a usb stick and it installled perfectly, i then went to the Windows Update Centre and left my PC as it updated, when I gotback I found that the screen was black and all i could see was my mouse cursor.
I then went on to switch the PC off by the power button on the computer, when I switched it back on it booted past the BIOS splash screen and past the windows 8 loading screen, after that the screen just goes black.
I can run it fine by entering safe mode, I have tried using the latest version of AMD catalyst, I have also tried reinstallng windows twice now, I have also rolled back my GPU drivers, still nothing. Any help would be amazing, thanks
