Hi all!
I'm planning my first gaming rig... And if it will be possible, but I hope very much so, my gpu will be a GTX 770. But that's irrilevant for this thread. My question is: can i use, with my single gpu, a monitor and a tv separately, not on dual display setup?
Maybe connecting the tv with hdmi and the monitor with dvi or displayport? Does it work?
Thanks :)

Do you mean "Separately" as in game on one screen and desktop on another(which is not only possible, its normal),or separately as in a different desktop/game for each monitor?

My tv is in the living room and my pc is upstairs in my room... There is a cable connecting the two rooms,so connecting the tv directly to the pc; if, for example, i play on the tv, can someone use the pc monitor for anything else? Sorry for my english but I'm from Italy

They could..but that would take the focus off of your game that is displaying on the TV, which would cause a host of problems.
Now if you're doing something that needs limited user input and/or CPU power, like watching a movie,on the TV. That should be fine
