Hi!
So, I've got my PC and want to get into gaming. Not serious gaming, but I would like to play some games on my PC on medium settings, just as long as the game doesn't lag. Here are my specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q8300
4 GB RAM
750 GB Hardrive
Graphics card: INTEL GMA X4500 INTEGRATED

If I wanted to run, say, Arkham Origins or Battlefield, would I be able to do so?
Thanks.

No, you need a dedicated GPU to even play games without lag, the integrated GPU is no where near powerful, their is no way you can run BF or AO, I recommend buying something like a GTX750, but this also depends on your PSU, some extra RAM would be good, + a stronger CPU.

A dedicated GPU like a 750 would be your best bet to play games on medium settings. Although you also have a weak CPU.

Could you give us your PSU model number? Really can't just stick a dedicated GPU in your system, have to check if your PSU can power it. Give us a budget and your PSU info and we should be able to help you out.

Yes, I've been reading up. My Gateway's PSU is quite weak, with 220w. So, it'll have to be a low level card unless I want to change my case, replace the PSU AND get a new card. I can try any of the two options, really, as long as it's within my budget, which is $180.
Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it.

Buying such a low profile GPU is a waste of money, you will get minimal GPU difference and still won't be able to play much even on low. I recommend a new PSU like a 450-600w and a GTX750.

The card itself is $120, which leaves me with $60 for the PSU. BUT, if, the either the PSU or the card was to not fit in the case, I'd be screwed.

The case's dimensions are 12.50" x 4.00" x 10.50"
Here's a video of a guy modifying the same PC I have:

After watching the video, do you think it'll fit? If so, great. If not, any other suggestions?
