D: Drive is full.

So, my laptop's D: Drive is almost completely full,a little over 1 mb left and ever since my laptop has been overheated where it usually never has before. Are these two occurrences conneccted to one another? If so, how can I free up space on my D: Drive, and if not, how can I keep my laptop from overheating?

Hard disk fullness has nothing to do with overheating.

usually drive D: is for system backup and restore points so there should be no reason that the system will over heat from a full partition. I suggest a good cleaning of the laptop's heatsink and fan. Yes you will need to take it apart to clean these.

You can start by running disk cleanup on your drives. Uninstall any programs you no longer use.
