I have my office PC that is using a WiFi adapter to connect to the internet so the Ethernet / LAN is unused. Can I share the WiFi to the Ethernet port to connect my Mitel 5212 IP Phone to the internet?

I have already gone to Network and Sharing Centre → Change Adapter Settings → Right click Wireless connection → Properties → Sharing → "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's internet connection"

Solution
Yes you can. You can try to select them both at the same time (ethernet and wifi adapters) from the adapter settings and right click and choose the bridge connections. That should get your voip up and running. If you cant bridge them, then it should work by allowing others to connect trough it.

I've used Mitel for years but It was direct to the router but we've had a new office refurb at home and now the router is downstairs and don't wanna buy a repeater / extender if I could just potentially plug it into the back of the PC
