I have an HP Deskjet 3745 Inkjet Printer but when info reaches it from laptop there is no sound and nothing happens even though green light shows and nothing else in line to print.

Thanks but there is no other cable that fits as far as I know. It has worked ok until now with its present wires etc. Any other ideas please?

There should be a USB cable that goes into your computer even if its wireless they come with one still. Try uninstalling your drivers for the printer then reinstalling. A printer cable is inexpensive so you might as well buy one to.

Thanks Austin. I don't think my printer is wireless. I have always used it with a printer cable. How do I uninstall and install drivers to give it a go?
