I have sabertooth R 2.0 inside a Cooler Master Storm Stryker ATX Full Tower Computer Case , I currently have 2 side fans 1 rear fan and a double fan cpu cooler up top , but I have lots of room in bottom and front, I would like to install 2 or 3 more fans if I could , as long as they are 4 pin will they work ?

Solution

That is correct. You could also get a fan controller, and then use PWM fans. A voltage controller would also work.

I saw aero cool CoolTouch-R fan controller that should work good ? http://www.aerocool.us/peripheral/CoolTouch-R%20B.htm I`ll just have to pick and choose which fans get to be hooked up . Sorry this is my first build in 8 years and I have forgotten a ton lol I used to be able to do this stuff soo easy now theres soo much compatibility issues.
my systems
FX 9370 , (4x8) amd 1066 ram , sabertooth r 2.0 , 2 x sapphire tri-x R9 290x 1040 base clock , H100i cpu cooler, 1000 watt coolermaster M2 silent master and with the fans I told you . but my friend told me this pc can perform really hot but I spent a lot of money I don't want to melt anything lol

Not a bad build at all. I would have done faster RAM, but you can always over clock. What size fans are you looking at? For 120 mm I would recommend http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181041 That fan controller is a good one and should work. I learned to build on my own with no help. In my opinion it is the best way to learn.

That is a very hot (heat wise) system. My 8350 pushes the limit of my H50. But its old, I got it used for $40. Someone else on the forum had the idea of using an old liquid cooler as a front fan on his case, then using a Peltier to cool the water, pumping cold air into the case. Essentially making a refrigerator.

that's exactly what I did when I was younger its how I learned the bios and stuff , trial and error lol and yes I was thinking of adding 3 120 mm if I can .m stryker case has tons of room , id hate to waste it if I could make my case I little cooler . I think I will have to learn how to make a custom cooler but for now I will just install few more fans with that controller , thanks for the help , once my check comes in I/m going to order that fan controller then get some fans . and yea I know I could have went with more ram but tbh everything is lightning fast right now . oh I have a 120 gb Samsung SSD and a western digital 1 TB 10,000 rpm HDD I will up my ram when I make my next build for wife , I/ll switch out the ram hehe

That SSD will make your system super fast. I love the SSD (pci flash) in my macbook pro....

i have 2 sapphire R9 290X`s OC edition 3 fans , great gpu`s i must say , i have intell system I7 4960X and im putting 2 titans in , i just havent decided on a motherboard , maybe rampage im thinking but this will be a slow build gpu will be last thing i get , my wife let me spend 4k on all my stuff , so ill do same for her. Figuer i`ll make her intell , she wants amd tho but id like to have best of both worlds lol TBH i think intell and AMD are same when equal money is spent , amd little cheaper but i had intell for 8 years and soo far im loving this AMD build , best pc i owned , its flawless in every way for my needs. Then ill have do more fans >.< lol
